As a result of inflation and the great resignation the big 4 accounting firms have provided some amazing benefits in 2022. The details of the mid years raises at Deloitte, PwC, KPMG and EY are below.
Deloitte
The Deloitte mid year raises have been all over the place depending on where you get the information from.
People are saying that they are getting raises from 2% to 20%.
Deloitte retention bonuses
Some people stated that they have also received retention bonuses as high as 35k.
In the UK, Deloitte said that they are now going to providing flexible holidays. This means that you can take a holiday any day you want if you choose not to use standard holidays like Christmas.
KPMG
(NEW)In May 2022, KPMG announced that they will give their staff anywhere between £2,000 and £4,000 salary increase.
KPMG is handing out raises from $3,000 to $7,000 in the US just months after they handed out raises higher than 10%.
KPMG said they are doing this because they are facing more attrition than they would like to see.
The total cost of the mid year compensation is $160 million.
PwC
PwC announced a 5% mid year raise across the board.
EY
As of December 2022, EY announced that they will not have mid-year bonuses in the U.S. This was supposed to be the first year for the bonuses, but they already did away with them before they started.
Some smaller countries are providing mid year raises.
